Die Antwoord Album Release Close With Massive Tour Announce
With no set release date confirmed for Die Antwoord’s new album ‘Donker Mag’, what we can confirm is that it will be soon after the trio of DJ Hi Tek, Yolandi Visser (BAAAABE) and Ninja locked in a US and European tour starting mid May 2014.
This announce adds excitement to the fact that the first single set to be released on ‘Donker Mag’ will be a collaboration with none other than the ‘Widow Licker’ Aphex Twin. Our only question is, will they tell their fans a date for the album launch or will they release some sort of shocking/cool viral video as they have in the past with the likes of ‘Beat Boy’ and ‘Baby’s On Fire’ and then drip out songs out?
It’s all in their control since they left Interscope controversially and created their own label Zef Records!

We had the TIME of our lives at Time Festival this weekend. The 12-act set took place at Fort York and consisted of mostly Canadian artists including Mac Demarco, Alison Wonderland and Ryan Hemsworth.
We Snapchatted our entire experience, check out our Snapchat TIMEline below.
We arrived just in time for Tory Lanez performance. Lanez, a Torontonian himself, was surprised at the size of the crowd that had come out to see him. Before starting his set, he encouraged everyone to say hello to the people beside them in the crowd and told everyone to move in closer together.
After Lanez, we had...

Die Antwoord have shown us a lot of unsettling things – that Pitbull Terrier clip, their roles in the movie Chappie, the album cover art that features a human heart mid-consumption – but nothing tops this. Someone has mashed-up Ninja and Yo-Landi’s 2012 hit I Fink U Freeky with footage from 90s children’s television show The Teletubbies and it’s so freakishly perfect you’ll wonder why no one thought of this before.
The clip is the handiwork of Las Vegas video editor Robert Jones, who told The Fader that he went through 30 Teletubbies...
There’s no better way to kickstart the day than with a little nightmare fuel. In this case, it’s the creepy faces of the Teletubbies performing Die Antwoord’s “I Fink U Freeky” in Robert Jones’ latest video mashup. The pansexual homunculi get down with their respective bad selves, as Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa, and Po all get in on the act of spitting out the fresh rhymes Yolandi Visser is laying down. It’s a sight to be seen—and not one soon to be forgotten, no matter how much one tries. Now, imagine how much better Chappie would’ve been with the...
Someone’s gone and made a music video for Die Antwoord’s “I Fink U Freeky” using clips from the permanent bad trip that is The Teletubbies. It is creepy.
Granted, they only got through about half the song, but that’s fine. I’m not sure anybody would be able to handle four full minutes of Teletubbies syncing up disturbingly well to this song.
Prepare to have your childhood ruined, because a genius video editor has combined the sexual rap-raves of South Africa’s Die Antwoord with the colourful and (seemingly) innocent world of children’s television series Teletubbies, and the results are as freaky as that pink slop “Tubby custard” the Teletubbies eat.
Las Vegas-based video editor Robert Jones has taken the time to recreate Die Antwoord’s I Fink U Freeky as if it were performed by our colourful Teletubbies frineds Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po, because what a perfect idea.
Jones’ creation is like a strange fever dream in which...
